Common questions
How does a foreigner get a work visa for Pakistan?
Through sponsorship by a Pakistani employer with processing involving the Board of Investment. The employer's documentation and the assignment details drive the case; a business visa does not permit employment. We handle the file end to end, including renewals.
What is the difference between POC and NICOP?
A NICOP is the identity card of a Pakistani citizen living abroad, including dual nationals. A POC is for foreign nationals of Pakistani origin — visa-free entry, indefinite stay, and practical property and banking rights, without citizenship or a vote.
Does Pakistan issue apostilles now?
Yes — since Pakistan's accession to the Hague Apostille Convention took effect in March 2023, MOFA issues apostilles accepted in over 120 countries without further embassy legalisation. We prepare, attest, and verify complete document sets.
My visa was refused over documents. Can it be fixed?
Often, yes — most documentation refusals trace to mismatched records, wrong-order attestation, or missing certificates, all repairable. What cannot be fixed is a deception finding, which is why documents must be genuine and consistent from the start.
